Kids Birthday
Daughter's First Birthday
My daughters first Birthday was on a weekday. So we just did a mash cake party on her birthday and then on that weekend we had a birthday party with all our friends.
The mash cake
Gold and Pink themed girls first birthday Party
Handmade pink and gold pom-poms, Handmade pink and gold tassel
Christmas tree decor, Gold satin table cloth
Pink and Gold Balloons, Pink and white cake
Birthday banners
For my daughters first birthday we selected Gold and Pink color theme. To go with the theme, I used:
Handmade pink and gold pom-poms, Handmade pink and gold tassel
Christmas tree decor, Gold satin table cloth
Pink and Gold Balloons, Pink and white cake
Birthday banners
Reused christmas tree decor.
My daughter's name starts with an 'S'.
So I made a big 'S' using the Christmas tree decor.
I found a lot of useful links online on how to make pom-poms and tassels.
It was fun making them and they added an instant complete look to the theme.
My husband designed the below chalkboard look-alike.
Daughter's Second Birthday
For Shriya's second birthday we got her a garden themed cake.
We used chalkboard place cards to display her name and
a small chalkboard signboard for a small birthday art!
Farm Themed Second Birthday Party
At the age of 2, one of her favorite rhymes was Old McDonald had a farm.
She loved that song and she could name all farm animals and
her favorite animal at that time was Pink Piggy.
So we decided to have a farm themed birthday party for her Second Birthday.
The Invite
We used pingg.com for the e invitation.
Patio with "Shriya Farms" signboard
The Barn Door
The Barn Themed cake
We got our cake from Publix.
We had Chex mix, Pirouette Chocolate swirls and Dum dums for snacks.
I used chalkboard place holder for the snacks.
We got large cow and piggy shaped mylar balloons.
Shriya loved them
Am not done with Chalkboard yet ;)
We chose little jars which had chalkboard on them from Michaels for return gifts.
Guests loved them.
